I love music, vocal music. Where can I start. I want it as a career.?
I love music. Singing and listening to good voices. I am now in my first year of community college… i want to take music as a career… i have never taken a music class other than a violin class back in 6th grade. I really love music, its my passion even tho i have never had professional training for it. I love to sing and want to become a singer. Not for the fame and or money, but because i Love singing. What can I do to start.
You need to get yourself known! The best place to start is by getting yourself a MySpace Music page as a lot of really well known bands and singers started on there, for example HollyWood Undead (who now have sold out tours and amazing albums out!) and one of my favourites Ron Pope.
This may take time to get lots of people to listen to you, but if you have videos, songs up etc, then you’ll soon get interest. Dont bother with Xfactor or anything reality shows. Think about it, the winner gets one song out, maybe an album if they are lucky and then they are forgotten with a few exceptions.
But trust me, MySpace is one of the best routes to go (:
